Position: ERA Chair Team Member – Junior Researcher

Research Focus: Ethnic foods, biological activities and compositional evaluation of edible natural products

Tomáš Kudera received his Ph.D. in Tropical Agrobiology and Bioresource Management (2024) at the Czech University of Life Sciences Prague, where he was focused on examining in vitro effects of medicinal plant-derived extracts and compounds on human intestinal bacteria and cells.

In his current research he would like to utilize the knowledge and skills acquired in ethnic sciences, ethnopharmacology, botany, and microbiology and expand them to the field of food sciences with particular focus on nutritional and gut health-beneficial aspects of edible natural products
