Hands-on Science: Making Science Practical and Inspiring
As part of the Hands-on Science Week taking place in August 10-13, 2026, the DRIFT-FOOD Research Centre contributed to the programme of the Faculty of Agrobiology, Food and Natural Resources, introducing talented high-school students from across the Czech Republic to the fascinating world of science through practical and interactive activities.
Dr. Bakht Ramin Shah, Senior Scientist at our DRIFT-FOOD Research Centre, joined the programme and introduced students to the fascinating field of food science, with a focus on innovative food technologies and the development of functional foods.
