Workshop at the Annual Meeting of the Society for Ethnobotany at CZU
Between June 7-12, 2025, the Annual Meeting of the Society for Ethnobotany was hosted by the Czech University of Life Sciences. DRIFT-FOOD team member Tomáš Kudera led a workshop on Virtual Reality Simulation of Field Ethnobotanical Research.
In the workshop Tomáš introduced a gamified virtual environment designed to enhance the learning experience in ethnobotanical research.
This immersive virtual reality tool is transforming the way researchers engage with traditional knowledge, biodiversity, and plants that have the potential to be economically valuable sources of food and medicine.
