Future Foods Congress 2025

DRIFT-FOOD proudly recognizes the participation of our team member, Nujamee Ngasakul, in the Future Foods Congress 2025, held at the Singapore Expo during June 16-18, 2025.  This year’s theme, “Bridging the Future of Sustainability and Food Science,” brought together global innovators and researchers to share solutions for a more sustainable food future.

As part of the congress, Nujamee delivers a flash talk and poster presentation on her latest research titled:

“The Use of Poppy Seed Cake in the Preparation of Functional Ice Creams.”

Her work explores the potential of repurposing poppy seed cake, a food industry by-product, as a functional ingredient in ice cream, contributing to both nutrition enhancement and waste reduction in food processing.

We congratulate Nujamee on her contribution to advancing sustainable food innovation and proudly support her continued research within the DRIFT-FOOD initiative.
