Fats in Food Innovation

On April 14, 2025, DRIFT-FOOD Research Centre hosted a scientific talk by Dr. Daylan Tzompa, PhD, R&D Manager in Innovation (Lipids).
This talk provided valuable opportunity for researchers, students, and industry professionals to learn about the role of fats in food innovation
and the latest developments in food product design.

Dr. Tzompa is a Food Scientist with expertise in lipid science, innovative ingredient technologies, food functionality, and product development for dairy, chocolate, and bakery products. She holds a PhD from Wageningen University and Research and has previous experience at Ghent University.
Currently, Dr. Tzompa is involved in research and innovation related to lipids at Puratos.
