DRIFT-FOOD Junior Researcher at the 4th Food Chemistry Conference
The DRIFT-FOOD Research Team proudly took part in the 4th Food Chemistry Conference: Reshaping Glogal Food Systems, held October 14–16, 2025 in Glasgow, Scotland, United Kingdom.
Our team was represented by Junior Researcher Dr. Tomáš Kudera, who took part in the scientific program with a poster presentation showcasing recent research outcomes of the DRIFT-FOOD project.
Poster title: Coffee substitutes supplemented with traditional spices: characterization and in vitro effect on colorectal cancer-associated bacteria
The presentation highlighted innovative approaches to the development and functional evaluation of coffee substitutes enriched with traditional spices, with a particular focus on their potential interactions with colorectal cancer-associated microbiota. The work attracted interest from conference participants and fostered valuable discussions with researchers from across the international food chemistry community.
Participation in this conference reflects DRIFT-FOOD’s ongoing commitment to advancing food research that supports healthier and more sustainable global food systems.
